Hi
Just after advice regarding Router for motorhome prefer something with Ariel ports to external Ariel should it be required.
Maximum about £100 sorry cant afford Teltonika RUT 590.

Look fo a second hand RUT590. I picked one up off ebay for not much more than £100.

Have ordered his recommended - slightly more expensive by £3 than his target price - delivery due 6th June, so we'll see.

I bought a Huawei B535-232 from eBay - £90 - and use a Smarty unlimited data Sim - £18p/m.
The router runs off 12v as well as 240v, and has external aerial ports too.(y)

I would prefer not to have an internal battery on charge 24/7 via the usb charge port. This would, for me, rule out the bargain router in the video in post no 3

We previously had a panel van. There was very poor signal inside. An external Poynting antenna made a massive difference.

Now we've got a coachbuild, I don't think the signal suffers anywhere near as bad. I guess not being in a continuous metal faraday cage probably helps. I've got a Huawei 4G MiFi with aerial sockets, but I've not yet bothered poking a hole in the roof as the signal has been OK.

It has a battery
Ergo it doesn't need to be on charge 24/7

My current Huawei mifi is similarly configured. No problem.
