One day hopefully
Why do all 4 gang extension leads have the mains lead exiting on the right hand side?
I am looking for one that exits to the left to fix to a wall with the lead to the left. This is purely for neatness.
Of all the extension leads in my garage and looking through pages of ebay and others, I have yet to see one.
I have never given a thought to this before.
Just shows you are never too old........

couldnt you just take it apart and feed the cable through the other end?

If it comes in half down its length you might be able to turn the top around 180°

(thought of that) Not many allow you to take them apart. Tend to be sealed.
Also, if you can get into them, you are liable to find the internals are manufactured with the internal connections dedicated to one end.

I have one that exits on the left but all the plugs are upside down. 😀

I’ve got one the same !
We tried that but it gave us problems with the toaster as it was popping up rather than the bread!:giggler:
