As above phgv so £165 pa . Anything over 3500kg falls in to the same category.

Van looks nice... as always comes down to the asking price

As stated above £165. Cheaper than 3.5t motorhome.

But, you will need a C1 licence to drive it. If you passed your car test earlier than 1997 you will have that as grandfather's rights.

Nice looking van. If you go to see it look for a spongy garage floor due to damp from rear wheel spray. If it has good mudflaps it probably won't be a problem.

Somerset trade campers, always looks a bit dodgy and obviously, given their price range and age of vehicles, some bad reviews.
However, you are experienced in both habitation and mechanicals so you can make an informed decision if you view it. They are bound to have some good ones amongst the bad.
Just don’t expect any after service!

Have read the reviews had campers for 30 years know my way around them have helped folks buying vans have checked mot history right back
Every company get bad reviews even the best of them

Don't forget, if you're aged 70 or over you need a medical to keep your C1 licence if you haven't already let it lapse.

Yes thank you it will get a microscopic inspection but even with a spungy floor nothin a cant fix as long as it not rotted the Steel under neath

Bill had 'Grandad' rights when we were in Short trousers.

You'll be lucky getting a trader to take much off the price these days .. especially on cheap second hand vans.

Any newbies coming on I might give a stronger warning but I think I know you well enough to let you trust your judgement.
Do you live near by ?
Bill
Well, I am about hour away on the other side of Bristol but Sneds offered before and I know mikebeaches is in that area but I don’t know if both home.
There is someone else in Weston too, is it seasideBill and also a search brings up Mike Warland
If noone closer can go then for us, Friday or Saturday might be a possibility especially if good weather and we can combine with taking Rosie for a run on the beach which she loves.
Don’t want you coming all the way from Goole if it is a complete non starter.

Don't forget Bill......HGV tax hasn't increased in price for many years, unlike under 3500kg tax which increases every year.

As aheads up, if you do decide to come down this weekend, it is end of half-term week and M5 might be usual pain. However, do not let your sat nav offer you a “faster route” as likely to divert you through Bristol onto the A370 and you will not avoid the LEZ.

Putting this on first page again for any Funsters in North Somerset.

Zoomed in to the interior photograph, thought there was signs of water ingress in the roofm right hand side at the back, now it might be bad camera angle and lighting, otherwise nice looking van Wildbill

Looks like the roof lining is bubbled and discoloured, might not just be the garage that needs checking for damp

Just had a look at the photos on their website. It looks like the vinyl on the ceiling board has bubbled around both the main rooflight & the rear rooflight. Both rooflights have probably leaked at some point. Apart from the ceiling board, there shouldn't be any other damage, no timber in the construction. of walls & roof.

Depending on how bad I can knock him Dow even more and fix the leek and replace the roof lining or just live with it
