Just for anyone that may have a use...I have attached a couple of files for a 3D printed folding tray I did.
It can be attached via screws, But I have actually just used strong velcro. Its relatively optimised to not waste plastic, hence the back plate design.

I recommend using PetG, as it has better thermal properties than PLA, and if you put a hot drink on it, then you don't want it to warp.
The base plate can be done with 15-20% infill, I use a gyroid infill, but also a height modifier for the hinge infill to make it stronger.

The tray itself at 20% infill, is good enough, but this should be printed upright, and I used organic supports. (I have attached a picture.)

To attach the tray together simply get a pencil. cut off the ends so they are flat, insert it into the holes, and then print off some plastic m4 dowels to straddle half of each end hinge. And that's it. (I can provide a file if you need one)

The tray has proved to be really good, and has worked on a bumpy ship anyway, with no cups falling of it in heavy weather.

I have tried to attach the freecad files, but it wont allow me to, so if anyone wants them, please say and I can put them in a drop box or something.
