3500kg signs in France ... Info please

I have been told that the no entry if over 3500kg signs in France only apply to lorries and trucks if accompanied by a pictogram of a lorry, so motorhomes are still allowed ...... If no lorry then it applies to all vehicles and obviously motorhomes are not allowed if over 3500kg ...! Can anyone confirm please.

I wonder what will happen when/if the 4250kg limit comes into force for EV's.....?

That's correct also includes speed limit signs if the sign has 3.5t and no lorry it's everything over 3.5t if there's a lorry sign then it's trucks only
