Just looking
Ok, so new to this. Have bought a unit and starting to understand how it all works - or doesn't in this case! The 3 way fridge doesn't get cold, in fact the opposit...it gets quite warm. Can t get a beep out of it on gas or 12v, but when on mains hook up the cooling fins inside the fridge get quite warm - as do the pipes and fins on the exterior of the fridge. Are there any remedies for a fix and/or further investigation. There's no rancid smell of amonia, so it's either still in there or totally escaped....any help or advice is most welcome.

Since 2015, still learning
Morning and welcome. Could be a few things (failed paste, air flow, burner issue). The search function will be your friend. What make of van? What age of van? What did they say on handover? 12 v will probably only work when the engine is running, to keep it cold when driving with gas off. Good luck

Inside the fridge at the back should be a label with the make and model of fridge.
If you can take a photo and post on here it'll help others give advice.
The rear exterior of the fridge should get warm but definitely not the aluminum fins inside.
12v probably only works when the engine is running.
Does it light on gas and not cool, or refuses to light ?
It's a common problem with these fridges, they can be very temperamental but if you use the search function it will bring up lots of threads with similar scenarios
