I’m smitten with the Adria Coral auto 3 birth 5 belt.

It looks big enough to me to fit 2 small kiddies and a dog! Perhaps with some thought on cushions or blow ups. The kids will only join us oldies school holidays and likely only a few years.

A few questions to the enlightened! Please don’t tell me to get a 4 or give birth that’s obvious.

But am I being over optimistic about sleeping 2 plus 2 and a canine? Table out .

What alternative motorhomes are similar in set up? We don’t have a bottomless budget! And the 3/5 set up couple of year old seems to be in our reach. I imagine for this very reason.

I’ve seen a MH private sale right now and I want it so badly..!

Seems to me your just looking for consent to.buy .
Get a tent for the times they join you you will find it will not be as often as you think 😉
You got me! But also be good to hear if anyone else did a squeeze and got regrets on their big purchase! Or tent plan sounds good, but it would be one of us in the tent with them I’m sure it will be me the cautious one!

Yes that’s the same layout Peter’s . 5 belts The singles at the end can be a large double which is our preference.

It depends how long you're thinking of keeping it. Imagine the kids 3 years older how big they will be ( they tend to grow quick!) and how likely to want to squeeze in. If all those things are ok and you're keen go for it

But three years older (they are tiny kids anyway) they won’t want to come with nanny , most people tell us to think 3 years now they are 10 and 11.

We have a 3 berth, 3rd rarely used as it is awkward to make up, have a drive away awning where the grandsprogs sleep, 9, 13,16,18 and 20 not all at once I may add, but the 3 older ones come together, so don't bank on the kids stopping any time soon 🤣
We sometimes use the blow up when we go away if staying in one place, usually with friends, for more than a few days. Have now got a screenhouse, that pops up in minutes and take that instead when only us and as well as when with the kids, gives us an out of van eating/socialising area.
Can't find photo to show the set up.

Mayb get a van with overhead cab bed?
When not in use it could be good for storage.
Then get the base the layout you want and this keeps length down👍
Bought vans twice catering for others🙈😳
Not again, but: like yourself have grandchild so want to give him the choice
He is now 10yrs, been coming away since 3yrs twice a year and some weekends.
He would love up over bed, it’s for adults as well so won’t grow out of it but it’s always there for storage or sleeping 🥰

I suspect the 5th belt is a lap only one on the small seat on the right of the habitation door. So probably not good for small child. We had 5 in it once for a day trip, with us, our son and daughter in law and the first grandkid, but our son volunteered for the lap belt

This is what ours looked like

Good well built van for the money when we had it. But I doubt you will get two kids on the made up bed in the lounge area.

That’s nice layout
What make and length is that one please 👍
Mine was a 2008 version C class and it was 7.3m long. It was our first one and, from the lessons we learnt from using it, the next one was and still is our keeper. Similar layout A class 7.5m long but with a bit more space which formed an enclosed area in the bedroom which meant we didn't have to close all the blinds when getting changed.

The reg number was AS08 AES. Would be interested to see if it is owned by a funster and how they are getting on with it. I px/ed it at a good price at the late lamented Becks in Norfolk and I understand that it was sold by them within a couple of weeks.
