Hi,
Like many others we’ve got issues with the DAB radio, 22 Burstner TD 745 Ducato 10” Uconnect headset no mirror guards. Not only will it just not play it’s as though the headset doesn’t recognise the DAB setting and can only receive a very limited number of FM stations. I also get an intermittent fault with the rear view camera giving the dreaded blue screen this is a real PIA as I occasionally have to reverse out of my parking spot.
Before splashing out any further (purchasing our dream van has crippled our finances) I’d like to check the connections to the headset first. Any information on how to get to the back of the headset dismantling the dash and tracing the aerial cable to the mirror would be most welcome.
Many thanks in advance.

Just started down this rabbit hole on my peugeot head unit has 4 holes that you insert a set of pins into then use to lever out, if you get the off the shelf extractor pins they will need bending to fit. DAB cable is a grey fakra female . You can pick these up off of amazon for around a fiver. However I gave up as trying to run the new aerial cable through the dash meant to much dismantling.

I bought it privately in January and put it into storage until better weather in May manufacturers warranty had expired while in storage. PO assured me all was working when we bought it.

I know what you mean about the 4 holes and release pins but I can’t see anything on the 10” head unit so assuming the dash has to come apart

DAB can depend on where you as well as aerial position. Even when we lived in London DAB was hit or miss and this was in our cars, due to terrain.

It’s more than just a patchy reception there’s nothing at all even in an area with good coverage plus the intermittent rear view camera fault and poor FM too.
