So Im not an expert on this solar stuff

But, Iv got 300w in solar with 2 panels and the most I seem to get is about 20v from the solar according to the app

I think that's about 3.5 amps if Im reading that right into the batteries

Is that right

Cheers

Pretty sunny today too

20v is the output from the panels that is correct.
The output from the controller will be between 13.6 to 14.4v depending on battery state of charge.
If the 3.5amps is from the panels the battery if charging at 14v will be getting 5 amps.

The solar controller will only supply what your battery requires on a daily basis. If fully charged the power can be 1 amp or less

Assuming your panels are both 150W, each panel will produce a maximum of 7.5A at 20V.

Your panels are probably wired in parallel, so you'll get up to 15A at 20v. As said above, your solar controller will drop this to 13-14v to charge your battery safely.
