Hey, So considering upgrading, im hoping to be able to do the work myself, anyone any links to what I should buy and how best to go about upgrading my stock leisure system to solar?

Can't help, but if you can tell us what hardware you have already and what you hope to power, it would probably help others give advice.
Do you go off grid or use campsites ?

So, basically, I dont know what I have?? never camped in this before, its my first motorhome but my first outing next year is to a location with no hookup, hence the desire for solar

I have a digital display overhead as I walk in the door, other than that, thats all I know, where would go to find out what im currently operating with?

At a guess, you probably have a single leisure battery.
This should get a charge from the engine when it's running (and a charge when on hook up) and depending on it's age and condition it should give you at least one night off grid using the water pump and lighting.
If I were you I'd have a rummage around and find the battery/s
Funsters on here will help you test it to find out it's condition
Then advise on what you will need
How long are you hoping to be offgrid for and what age is the vehicle ?

The 2 batteries you have may give you 3/4 nights especially if you add a solar panel which is quite straight forward to do (y)
Probably best to just try using them and see how you get on
Try to do as much as possible using gas, kettle / cooking etc.
Avoiding electric kettles heaters hairdryers and toasters will prolong you battery life enormously

That looks like you may have a Nordelettronica habitation electrical system fitted to your Motorhome , if you do not have one , you may be able to get a Rimor Motorhome owners operation manual from www.rimor.it , faq section.

Now the only issue is, I'd be inclined to believe these are the original batteries, so they're 2021, play a part?

Great to know tho, thanks

The only way to know for sure is to test them for capacity after a full charge on electric hook up
Of just get out and try them
