Hi
Has anyone managed to fit a toggle switch to use on an aftermarket Alpine radio with a can/steering wheel controls interface module fitted . l want to power radio from leisure battery when parked up and use the starter battery when driving. The original set up was fitted with the stock VP1 radio on a 52pin connector block, it gets a data signal for the acc supply when ignition is turned on. The problem l have is on the new Alpine interface unit fitted l am not sure which wire to connect into to get a permanent power supply, so it can bypass the data signal for radio acc supply. On the toggle switch l have a wire connected from leisure battery, one from original vehicle loom permanent feed wire (Yellow) and the third wire back to radio the permanent feed wire for the radio (yellow) , there is no other feed / switch wire which is usually red on original vehicle loom at the connector. The Alpine interface and wiring are part no Alpine APF-X304DU. l have tried contacting Alpine UK and have not had no response at all on numerous occasions. Any help in resolving this issue would be much appreciated thanks Jim
