We have a 2020 Sunseeker 115
Chassis base is Peugeot Boxer 2.2 140Bhp

Looking to change 3 settings on the ECU
1) TPMS
2) Odometer flashing
3) Extend radio time out

I've just spoken to our local Peugeot dealer, who has quoted £120-240 to carry out the work

I connected my iCarsoft CR Pro, that has got me out of troubles on my cars, but when I connect it on the MoHo it comes up with messages that indicate that the access to the ECU is blocked.

From reading up on here, I understand that it might use SGW to stop anyone other than a dealer get to the settings, so I've bought an OBD Diagnostic Programming Adaptor (SGW bypass)

Again, from reading posts here, I might be able to sort these items by using AlfaOBD or Multiecuscan

But, before I go too much further, has anyone on here got previous experience of using this, or an alternative app/software to sort this please?

Thanks
Trev

I changed the trigger pressures on my TPMS using Multiecuscan.

Mine is a 2.2 2021 Citroen - essentially the same van. There wasn't a security gateway on mine (or at least not that I noticed). I needed the yellow lead from Gendan.

Using multiecuscan, I was able to see many of the ECUs/modules. But not the engine. So I don't know whether it would help with your flashing odometer.

OK, so I chose to go the AlfaOBD route

Installed the app on my mobile, bought a bluetooth OBD scan tool made by Proscan and bought the yellow adaptor from Gendan

There was no sign of a security gateway (SGW) blocking me

1) TPMS - I can see how I can change these

2) Odometer flashing - I ran the Proxy Alignment process, which completed 4 configs, but failed the 5th with the wording "Writing configuration to Entertainment Telematic Module (BEB/ETM) ... Failed. The ECU has detected that the request contains parameter(s) with value(s) outside allowable range" Which I'm taking to mean its something to do with the radio

3) Extend radio time out - I cant find any settings on any of the screens to enable me to change this

I will do some googling to the outcome of the proxy alignment process to see if I can determine what needs to be done

Has anyone been able to find where to change the radio timeout on AlfaOBD, or by using Multiecuscan please?

Thank you

Sounds like Alfaobd and multiecuscan have thier strengths and weeknesses
weaknesses that last!

After selecting Fiat Pro as the make, then your particular version of the Ducato, connect to the Body Computer. The programming option allows selection of a Car Configuration Change procedure. Amongst the options is Switch-off Time, which can be set to 20, 60 or 180 minutes as above. Once the programming has completed, you need to carry out a Proxi Alignment procedure to ensure that the configuration change is notified to the network nodes on the vehicle. However, this is somewhat difficult with the Android app as you need a different connector cable for the OBD adaptor to be able to connect to some of the nodes that the Proxi Alignment procedure needs to write to, so I found it easiest to switch back to MultiEcuScan to complete the process. After the Proxi Alignment has completed, switch off the ignition, remove the key and shut all doors for at least 1 minute - job done (y)

OK, so, as above, I went down the route of buying a yellow OBD adaptor, a BT OBD scan tool and a copy of AlfaOBD
Everything connected and ran properly, no sign of being blocked by SGW
Found the radio time out, TPMS etc by following the help here - thanks
But, unfortunately, the proxy alignment, whilst the other changes saved, it returned the following error on the radio
"Writing configuration to Entertainment Telematic Module (BEB/ETM) ... Failed. The ECU has detected that the request contains parameter(s) with value(s) outside allowable range"
So, I ran the fault code checks on the radio and found the following
B1562 – GPS Antenna open circuit
B1578 – AM/FM Antenna open circuit
B157A – DAB Antenna open circuit
I disconnected the aerials, cleared and ran again, but the codes returned, which makes me think there is a short inside the radio unit
Going to borrow my brothers radio next week (same model - Fiat 250 VP2 ECE DAB NAV) to check that the proxy alignment will complete on his

Ok, so have borrowed by brothers radio today and it has returned the same fault codes
Its working fine in his van, so I'm now left scratching my head.
Below is a screen shot of the codes i have.
I also tried a proxy alignment using his radio and got an error saying it could not complete, but slightly different wording than when using my radio. Again, screen shot attached
I'm now struggling as to what to do next
Maybe put his back in his van and run the same diagnostics
Could it be that AlfaOBD cant complete the proxy alignment and that i have to pay the dealer to complete this?
All suggestions welcome
Thank you

GOING BACK TO dENEB THREAD i think he was not happy with proxi alignment with Alfaobd and used Multiecuscan for this part, however this was with a fiat van.
WHere are you?
there may be someone on here with MES if not try

Today, I took my brothers radio back and reinstalled it in his van (2016 Fiat Ducato based Wildax camper van)
Connected it up to AlfaOBD and it returned the same 3 fault codes (B1562, B1578 & B157A)
It took a few attempts, but eventually the faults cleared and did not return
So, we changed the radio time from 20 min, to 60 min and ran the proxy alignment, which worked
Afterwards, we tested the radio and can confirm that it does now stay on for 60 mins
From the screenshots I took, we did notice that when we were working on my radio module, it did show as "UCONNECT", whereas, on my brothers radio it was showing as "UCONNECT 2012"
I've brought the kit back home and I am unable to clear the fault codes on my radio
So, it could be that maybe AlfaOBD cannot work on my later radio
Any thoughts on this matter would be welcome
Thank you

Yes, I thought about that and thought about getting a copy of Multiecuscan to use for the proxy alignment, but now that I've found that it worked on my brothers 2016 Ducato today, I think it should work on the Boxer, unless of course AlfaOBD hasn't been configured to work on my 2020 Boxer, where I'm using "Boxer 2014 (X290). I will contact AlfaOBD and ask the question
Many thanks

In the past when i had a problem the developer soon resolved it but had to wait to the next update. At least all updates are free for " life".

Back to mes , there is a member of the register in Devon. I'm too too 3 far away.

Thanks again, much appreciated!
I might contact Mikey when I get back from my France trip next week
This morning I've lost power to the radio, so need to sort that before I go further...

Found the blown fuse and replaced it
Reinstated our original radio (has DAB, but no Nav, or CD)
Couldn't connect to the radio module, but did connect to the the body computer
Cleared a couple of codes and the proxy alignment ran successfully and the odometer flashing has stopped
Am therefore of the opinion that there is a short inside the radio, so have started a return on eBay
Its been with me for more than a month (In Canada for 2 of the weeks) but it was offered with a 3 month warranty, so fingers crossed
Alexey from AlfaOBD has been brilliant is responding to my emails, so very impressed with them

The good news is that the supplier took the radio back and gave me a full refund(y)
The not so good news is that I bought another that is doing exactly the same, in that its the same fault codes, wont complete proxy alignment
Came across this vague post on the Fiat forum earlier, where someone had the same issues as mine
The wording he used was "I solved this. You have to find (on your scanner) the GPS tick box and enable it. The Proxy Alignment then goes to work and tells the other components that everything is there" A number of people followed him up on where to find it, but he doesn't respond
Will have a look through the screens later and report back

Making good progress, but still not there. Will update here once sorted
In the meantime, does anyone know where the maker places the GPS antenna module please?
I understand it looks like the following

Thanks

OK, so found the GPS tick box and enabled it, which enabled me to run a further proxy alignment which whilst not without an error, it has stopped the odometer from flashing.
Still got fault codes on the radio that I don't seem to be able to clear
However, I've achieved what I set out to do
1) TPMS - I know how to change this
2) Odometer flashing - fixed
3) Extend radio time out - changed
So, whilst I've got more to do, I think this thread can now be closed
Many thanks to everyone for their help
