2013 Ducato diesel injectors

we have the Fiat 3 litre engine. 5 years ago at about 8000 miles we had to have number 3 injector changed. Now at 13800miles number 3 injector has failed again. Also 2 years ago we had to have the glow plugs replaced. Is there a link? Has anyone else had this problem

In my experience, injectors, like batteries, should all be renewed together because if one of the batch is suspect, they all are. That was the advice given to me when I was messing about with marine engines, sometimes hundreds of miles from land.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. It would a valid point if it was one of the other injectors that had now failed. But it’s the same one that was replaced 5 years ago
