I'm a newbie had a wobbly box when adam was a lad
As above just bought a Sony MEX-N4300BT radio to replace the Kenwood that got drowned and need a harness adapter anyone know where I can get one from
Cheers Peter

So the saga continues wired it all in and there's no power to the yellow wire so is there a permanent live I can splice into at the cab fuse box

I replaced the factory radio in my 2010 Boxer with a similar Sony MEX model as the OP (mines the MEX 7300 model which just adds DAB).

Used all the recommended parts, adapters , loom etc as bought from Connect 2, including the SWC adapter but never got the SWC to work properly.
Connect 2 couldn’t help remotely but did offer to look at it if I visited them but it was too far away so I’ve just given up.

The problem I have is that only one half of the wheel controls will work.
So I can have volume up/down and source work OR track + / - and phone button but not all six.

I believe it is something to do with those buttons using the same cabling but each side of the wheels buttons uses a different resistance (?) which is how the head unit differentiates. However mine doesn’t.

I can remap the buttons on the head unit to get a hybrid mix of any 3 of the 6 buttons but only a max of 3.
