2008 Autocruise (Peugeot boxer) Radio/Cd to head unit upgrade advice

hi, we are considering upgrading the radio/cd in our 2008 Autocruise (Peugeot Boxer) to a modern screen type head unit with apple car play etc

Pretty sure someone on here would have done this or similar. Would be grateful of any advice, guidance or recommendations?

Changed my 2012 radio for a double din one , it meant cutting away some plastic and getting a new trim but it can be done if yours is similar.

Swapped out mine to a double din pioneer £1200ish. Absolutely rubbish. Have recently replaced it with a Kenwood unit. £400. Far superior, and really really happy with it. I also run it as the rear view, and reverse camera screen. Has apple CarPlay too.
