We're up in Scotland at mo and after driving thru a rather large puddle or two we have a slight steering wheel vibration/wobble and a strange vibration on verge of a banging sensation from what seems to be coming from under our seats... I've tried braking heavily and it still drives straight with no pull what so ever, even looked underneath and cant find anything that can cause the vibration/knocking... we have noticed that when driving slowly we can hear a strange sound snd the vibration is more noticeable also sounds like a chinook helicopter flying above when driving along... thats about as good as a description I can give... we do have mayday breakdown but wondering if its something that we can get sorted instead of calling them out ...

Have a look for bulges on the inner and outer side walls of your tyres, and also look for missing tyre balancing weights, the puddle may have been a pothole full of water which has damaged the tyre or knocked a weight off.

Have looked at balancing weights, also checked drive shafts as well for any movement, wondering if its knocked the tracking out...

Sound as if you’ve broken the under shield and is flapping as it gets air in it. It will look in place but some of the fixings will have broken.
Yes I think the under tray diagnosis is likely too. It will look ok but flap when moving👍

I would suspect tyres, we had the same thing on a previous van and blamed the trailer but after a good inspection of the tyres one had a carbuncle in the tread and it was sitting on it so difficult to see.

Check a tyre hasn't picked up anything. We had a terrible noise coming from the front once, I went into panic mode. A tyre had picked up some insulation tape and it was catching the wheel arch as it went round.
