Getting there!
Hi there, come the middle of April we're going to push ourselves out of our comfort zone and do a trip around France, Spain and Portugal. We're going on the euro tunnel, and at some stage visiting Murcia as we have relatives there. We can go for up to 2 months and just wondered whether any of you had any good routes and must-sees please.

Get yourself downloading the free apps - Park4Night, Search4Sites and my preference Campercontact. Also have a look at Camping-Car Parks, which you have to pay €5 for a card and then pay about €12-14 for an overnight stop. We used these for the 1st time last year and generally found them good value. We ordered the card to our home which only took about a week.
We've just got back and found French fuel prices on the motorway to be about €2.05 average so try to fuel up elsewhere. Spain was anywhere between €1.29 and 1.45.
Northern France has been cold and wet recently so you may want to consider Iberia first and more of France on your return leg.

If you're a history buff France is great. Follow the route through Normandy and Brittany and then south. Use the aires to your advantage and visit the old villages and places of interest on route. Time spent on research won't be wasted. Have a good time.

Should be a good time to travel... especially in Spain and Portugal... Easter would have been and gone...most Snowbirds have migrated north...the flowers are showing themselves...days are longer, enjoy yourselves...(jumar....a Murcian resident)

We did France/Spain for 2 months a couple of years ago. Didn't plan anything to be honest but this is what we ended up doing.

This Autumn we are going to do France, Northern Spain, Portugal and Morocco. Again no plans as yet.

With two months no need to rush, avoid the toll roads you see far more, and save quite a bit as well, the tolls can cost nearly as much as the fuel.
