MH
Don't own one yet
Hi guys,
Hope you're all well and great to be on here.
We are looking for our 1st motorhome as a family in a month or 2 and wanted advice on what to look for when travelling Europe. We'll be living in it for a few months so any tips on best interenet service for streaming, downloading etc would be greatly appreciated. Looked at a few and Starlink seems to pop up all the ttime.TIA 👍

More important is the MH you buy. When you say family how many and how old are the kids, do you have C1 on licence if not it may be really hard to find a MH with enough paylload for 2 people let alone a family under 3500kg.

Hi Michael,
Really appreciate your reply.
Yeah, I have C1 on my licence as I'm a bus driver. We have 2 kids, aged 6 & 2. We were at the Motorhome Show in Birmingham last October and got some good tips etc from different people but was told this forum was a great tool to use for advice from actual owners 👍

The kids will love it...
We have 2 grandkids who have lived with us since birth and they spent most of their younger years travelling in the motorhome both in UK and Europe.. Go for it... (y) Some great memories to be made.

ps.. You will find a subscription on here will be very worthwhile for help, advise and also you have the chance to meet up with others at rally's.

Research, research and more research, then go for it and learn along the way from this wonderful forum!

:welcome4:
Look at the Home page, and read the suggestions on the resources/beginners bit along the top blue line.

I'm on my 3rd panel van, and could have bought it as the 1st one if I had done more research!

Definitely recommend paying the subscription.

Mine has covered its cost many times over, and the buying guide is brilliant. And no, I'm not on the payroll!
