Any other water system commisioning tips as well. (Pilote 740)
Cheers. Mark

I use white wine vinegar (diluted), run it well through all the taps etc then take it for a run while it’s sloshing around the tanks. I watched this when I first started and was wondering what to do

Use food grade anhydrous citric acid powder. Two scoops per 10 litres of water. Buy a 5kg tub from Amazon and it will last long. Also use it to descale and sterilise kettles, coffee machines etc at home and in the motorhome.

After reading a similar post, got some from e-bay.
Had used lemon juice and/or white vinegar on our kettle.
Did a reasonable job but did take some effort.
Tried the citric acid on the kettle, like magic and dead simple.
Have just fitted a new freshwater tank to our campervan.
Will be treating it and the lines with citric acid and will repeat at least once a year.
Have just watched the video, he seems to be indicating that white vinegar is the same as citric acid, it isn't.
White vinegar is made from distilled brain alchohol and citric acid is made from mollasses mold.
