1999 CI Elegant 641

I've just got back from 2 months touring Europe. Where I managed to damage the back and front bumpers. Does anyone know where I may find replacement. I expect they will be salvaged. Or does anyone know who can remake new ones from old? Thanks in advance. Jim

Thank you. They are plastic but I thought maybe they could use the old damaged ones as templates to make new ones in GRP. Is this the type of work he could do?

Yes I’m sure he does he is very accommodating and if he can do it for you he won’t overcharge.these are his details a lot of people on Motorhome Fun have used him and been happy with his work.

Hi Jim, I recently rebuilt 2 bumpers for a friend of mine. They were very smashed and not all the fragments were there. However I reassembled them using reinforced tape at the back. Then I plastic welded them with a soldering iron and a roll of ABS 3d printing filament. Sanded the resulting scars and used plastic filler to level them up and fill in the gaps. Once set I sanded again, then painted them. They are not perfect up close, but are in one piece and look great compared to the eggshell condition previously

You just reminded me, I have an entire rear bumper for a rapido in my shed. Must dig it out and sell it
