Hi! fellow motorhome followers, my 1994 Ford Transit Herald Aragon has recently had a few 12volt electrical issues. The zig charger is repaired and working correctly. The issue is with the Zig control Panel which only has power when connected to mains and charger switched on. There is no live feed from leisure battery. Is it because there is a fuse blown somewhere, and if so can anybody tell me where fuse should be. I have looked everywhere. Or could it be something more serious to fix. Please help!

Many thanks,

David

Is the leisure battery charged ? and , if it is , Have looked around the leisure battery positive terminal area for a supply fuse and also checked the leisure battery connections (including the battery negative to body earth connection) ?

Hi Geoff, Thanks for your response . I have done all you mentioned. I think I'm going to have to find a professional electrician which I know will cost who knows?

everingham , If your 12v habitation fuse block has a fuse (poss.25a) marked AUX Battery and another marked charger (25a) it could be worth checking them and their holders again for a fault or poor connection and if possible confirm that power from the leisure (AUX) battery is getting to the Aux battery fuse holder. Also check that the connections at the charger are all secure , especially the blue cable connection.
There may also be a 25a inline fuse near the starter battery which needs checking.(although , if faulty , this would also stop the fridge working on 12v with the engine running)
