Sorry to be a pain asking about payloads all the time but does anyone know the payload of a 1991 hymer camp 55... All i can find online is about a special order 4x4 version...and this isn't a 4x4..the vendor sent me this pic which i have no idea what its about

You need a copy of the VIN plate weights and a weighbridge ticket for the empty van to know for sure. Anything else is just guesswork tbh

That picture is for the brake force distributor adjustment according to loading. The weight plate should be under the bonnet. Four rows of figures first one front axle max loading second second rear axle loading third one your max loading of the van which may not add up to one and two. Fourth one train weight max you can be with a trailer in tow.

The seller could send you a photo of the VIN plate showing the weight allowances. You can then see if it stands a chance. You need to be looking at 3300kg+ for GVW to allow you to carry enough to actually use the van.

2800kg GVW sounds very tight. Similar models have an unladen weight of around 2400kg so you'd only be able to carry 50kg of stuff which is nowhere near enough
Thank you.... That was the info i needed... Looks like gotta go big... A tag axle its looking like

paper exercise to uprate to 3250kgs but still could be iffy. lots are built on 1tonne chassis I had a 4 berth coachbuilt that was 2350kgs MAM with 1700kgs Unladen weight

As stated believe this is similar spec may give you a clue. If anything the 4x4 would be heavier so less payload?
