Hi, I'm searching for a spare wheel/tyre for our Ducato based 2007 MH. Looking on the classifieds here and on Ebay, sellers specify, for example 'from 2014 onwards' or '6Jx16H2'. Others state suitable for years 2002 to 2021, etc.
Are wheels that specific to a year of manufacture or are they generic? Also what does the '6Jx16H2' refer to please?
Excuse my ignorance. Thanks

6 is the width (depth) of the wheel in inches,
J is the profile of the rim which the tyre fits in to, that's the standard profile for most wheels I believe ;
16 is the wheel diameter in inches, so means you are looking for R16 tyres.

No idea what the H2 is, sorry.

You will also have to specify the PCD of the bolt holes. It will be either 118 or 130mm..

H2 refes to the shape of the wheel cross section. different types have different rigidty and offsets. H2 is fairly average on the scale H to EH2+ with some FHs and CHs and things in between. H is short for Hump and the bigger the the better roughly speaking (y) .
