Hi all
I am considering getting a 2016 Carthargo Compact on a 130bhp. I currently have a Chausson 718xlb ona 150bhp. Will I see much difference. Also if anyone has one what are you getting in MPG.
Thanks

Our 2015 138 is getting 11.1 ltr per 100klm or about 27 mpg. But I do like to keep the DPF clean ;)

If you do a lot of mountains get a more powerful one.
We have a 180hp Compactline just about right. 24.5mpg but it's only done 6000 miles can get 28 if I take me lead boots off but there's no fun in that.

Never had an issue with mountains in our 130 bhp and done quite a few, only having to change down because of the tightness of the bends not under powered. We are running about 30kg under 3500kg but that's with full everything so it's sometimes lighter and the 138 is the lightest of the bunch.

My tendancy is to look for a higher bhp however I suppose I could get it mapped if push come to shove.
27mpg is what I get currently in the Chausson

Our first Hymer had the 130 and we were running at 3500kg, found it awful on 1in6 or steeper hairpins apart from that it was OK.
