12v dc heat trace cable

i am looking to purchase some 12v DC heat trace cable. There was a company on flea bay last year selling this, but I can’t find it now.

Anybody know of any companies in U.K. going 12v DC gets trace cable at the moment.

True, but where you going to get 12v AC cable.
if it's being powered at 12v it is HAS to be 12v DC cable or it will never get warm.

A heating element needs the correct voltage to heat up.
A 230v light bulb is a heating element but if you connect it to a 12v battery it doesn't do anything..
Connecting a 12v bulb to 230v it will exlode.
But in this case the heating element IS the wire.
