So I've been looking for a good quality 12 volt USB charger socket which doesn't come without any LED illumination lights but I haven't been able to find any so far. So basically something like below but without the LEDs.

The reason I don't want the LEDs is that I want to install it by the bed and I don't want the lights at night while charging our phones.

Thanks!

Since 2008 & many years tugging
with a single LED you could easily blank out.
"Good Quality" you are living in cloud cook-koo land, all cheap Chinese junk these days just be prepared for the odd one to fail after a few months.

I just use plug ones so they can be instantly swapped when they fail. Having said that, Scosche are a quality American brand, and not failed me yet (y)

That’s what I’ve installed by my beds. I’ve dripped black on the blue light and it’s still too bright. I did see some that have no light at the Peterborough show but can’t remember who was selling them sorry.
Drill it out (y)
I don't know what's wrong with the standard 3mm low brightness red LEDs that used to be on things as power indicators. A much nicer light, nowadays we have to have a flipping blue torch on anything that's on standby :wondering:

0.5mm drill in a Dremel would cure it. And / or black candle wax.

Thanks everyone for your feedback and tips on how to block out the LEDs. Maybe I'll just skip USB charging ports by the bed and instead install it in a cabinet in the kitchen  I guess I shouldn't be on the phone all night and morning anyway :)
