12 volt power supply plug

Evening all.
I need another 12 volt power supply plug for our TV. The television is a Hymer fitted Alphatronics. I have got a plug from Amazon which is 5.5mm o/d and 2.1mm i/d. This does not work. To the naked eye there is a subtle difference. The positive hole is a tad smaller than the 2.1mm.

Can anyone held with a plug name, number etc. Preferably a plug with tails on.

Look up Hella 12V plugs and sockets.

Very similar to normal car sockets but slightly different size and benefits from a locking action between plug and socket. Adaptors between the two types also available.

I think they mean the DC plug on the TV end...

There are 2 common DC plug.. 2.1mm and 2.5mm.. So if that is not right try the other size.
Others sizes are also available like 1.8.. Some manufacturers colour code them as well. Check if your old one has a coloured band.
I know Sony used to use a wierd size, dont know about alphatronics.

Hella don't make that type of plug. It's the small one at the TV end.

It could be a 4.8od x 1.7id
