WANTED 12 v TV - still looking.

Looking for a reasonably priced set. A used one that is reasonably slim would be ideal.

I have ALWAYS used bog standard domestic tv's from supermarkets and haven't had one fail yet.
In fact I'm watching one now in the kitchen which I removed from our RV when I sold it.
The only exception to standard I make is I use a regulated power supply if on 12v.
That way the voltage is always 12v even when the charger/solar is putting out 13.9v or more.
I just can't see the point in paying a fortune for a set with the words 'motorhome TV' in front of it.

Think the recent Aldi "special" is still available online for £125 (delivered?). Comes with both 230v and 12v power leads.

I use a Aldi one.Does the job.Ita got DVD player,USB port .Pictures are good enough for me.

I have the Aldi one which I bought last year. Worked perfectly and still does. The only bad mark is the abysmal sound quality but I am sure I could cure that if I put my mind to it. That said it is perfectly adequate for my requirements, I just avoid musical DVDs

I've an avtec (think thats what it's called) one we don't use, 12/240v, only problem is it's in storage in Uk and we're in Portugal.

My only requirement is that it can run on 12v and is not a brick! We will only use it when the weather is bad in the evenings - hopefully I won't have to endure the soaps whilst away.

I was hoping someone would be updating and have a used one surplus to requirements. Just looked at the Aldi one - a good price for a new set.

Hi, thanks. I have bought a weeny avtex which I haven't used yet even though we've been away. The weather is just too good. I have an aerial on a pole which is a bit of a faff, so will continue to look for a roof top one.
