12 v cacuum cleaner for MH

Personally, don't think a 12v will have enough power for suction.
Of the ones I have seen for cars, they lack serious punch, in my opinion.
However, a Makita 18v lithium battery powered portable vacuum could well be a solution, charged up via 240v or from an inverter if using solar if no EHU available.
Just a thought.

Is it an electric pooperscooper? :)

But on a more serious note I'm not sure there is a good 12 volt vacuum cleaner. We use a G-Tech Hand-held which needs 240 volts to charge of course but its spinning brush is good for removing dog hairs.

I use a rechargable Xiaomi vacuum cleaner.
Good enough for dust (6000 Pa suction power). Battery lasts around 20 min.
Enough for a small van.

I am with Captain Yoghurtpot and use a Makita cordless vacuum cleaner. Great suction! It uses the same Lithium battery as my other cordless power tools and charged on 230v charger when away. That said the charge lasts for ages!

Got a Dyson, and the 12v charger. But these days we don’t bother to take it. It’s just as quick to whip round with a dustpan and brush.

Have used one of these for the last few years. Excellent for a quick clean up, and never have to worry about getting it out and finding the battery is flat! The long lead means I can cover the whole of the interior by just plugging into one socket.

We use one of those 12v black&decker jobs. No problems with it at all. Picks up dog hair no hassle as well. Good bit of kit.

We use a Makita too as the batteries are already used for other purposes including running high output 12v cigar socket output for laptop and drone chargers

I second the g-tech - bit slow on recharge though from flat - okay otherwise.

Totally agree

Gtech works a treat. I Use an msw invertor to charge ours, also charge it at home on mains mostly, dont think we've had to charge it in van too often. (i dont use it!!!)

Mounted our old Dyson to its bracket and charger point in the rear locker. Permanently plugged in so recharges when connected to an EHU. Always seems to have charge and works for us.

I have a GE Tech car vacuum which I use the van. It works pretty well on the nooks and crannies, a brush & pan set is better when we are touring, and the household sweeper when we get home. The GE Tech beats the brush & pan and the household sweeper on usability in the crowded motorhome. That's why I use it for the small jobs.
