‘Free’ overnight stop in Dover

I was recommended to the Chef de Mumbai restaurant at St Margaret’s at Cliffe just outside Dover.

Stayed there on Tuesday night, plenty of room to park and was greeted in the restaurant by very pleasant people.

The meal was excellent and they are very happy for overnight stays if you have a meal.

I'd second this. We stopped one night before the ferry last summer-there were 9 motorhomes/vans in the carpark, from all over Europe, we were the only UK plate. The meal was the best I've ever had at an Indian, and they let us take our dog in too. Can't wait to go again!!
