£10 per Axel, plus £10 overall, so £30 with certificate, & no, I wont be using them again.
Weighbridges are rare in Surrey, as the council closed a couple of them, so its Scrapyards, or Gravel suppliers are the only places left.

around Northampton most of the local council tips have weigh bridges, the in Rushden charge £5.00 with a printout.

Come to Spain. 1€ per weigh with ticket on certified weighbridges available in many places where I live. Or most building suppliers free of charge.

My local one is free if you just pop your head in the door and look at the screen.
It read 3420kg last month - plus 100kg for me.

One near us in Newhaven is cheap too, £5 and also does axles.

Good morning, Just had a chuckle. Must make you the original "Otspot" from Tod.
Love the place. Would you tell me where the weigh bridge is, I will use it when I come up in September as I have just had a weight up grade from 3500kgs MAM to 4350kgs MAM.
Just for the rest of you who are contemplating uprating, it has been a nightmare with the DVLA.

Don't come to Lymington! Not been, but when I rang Veolia man said only come in the afternoon and it would cost £34 only payable by cheque!!!

Ask first, free if you don't need a certificate it has a good digital display, I take photos of front axle weight, then full load.
£10 if you need a certificate.

Up Burnley rd past the school and about 400 yards further turn left onto small industrial estate and ‘Stephensons’ is straight in front through the usually open double metal gates.

But you only get two weights for that. You really need the three.

Just visited our nearest in Tenterden, Kent. £10 and a bit of a shock to discover how close we are to the limit. 3120Kg with no water and half a tank of diesel. That's having taken out the Microwave and the stupidly heavy iron folding table that came with it (we did decide to sit in the van rather than guess our weight). - I'll have to get the beer in aluminium kegs rather than glass bottles!

All you have to do is take a bit of scrap or batteries to the nearest scrap yard, they will weigh you in and out, and pay you for weighing not the other way about.
