I'm not sure I really qualify for membership of this this esteemed and very select group, as my 2018 Hymer MLT 570 is the 2x4 variety.
Ours was the dealers demo vehicle, so we got it aged 18 months with 6k on the clock, with a very considerable reduction, it came
"as seen, without any guarantees or warranty".
(The 4x4 version was on an 18 month waiting list at the time, and over £40k more than we paid, and with the Pandemic that happened the week after we collected ours, would have been at least two years and sixty grand more.)
However I do have 4x4 experience, I learnt to drive in Cornwall in a Series III Landie, I owned a Series IV Landie, and then later an ex Lombard RAC Rally Marshalls Defender TDI 110, with a winch and rally lights which we traded in for more money than we paid for it 12 years earlier!
I still drive my brothers 'Bitsa' Series II Landie (Strictly summer use only!)
We also overlanded in a borrowed Merc 4x4 truck through South America in the early 2000's.
I've also done a lot of camping in remote, mostly mountainous areas as I take groups of teenage Explorer Scouts on multi day mountain expeditions
