Brownhills Motorhomes

Thought I'd share a rather worrying post on another forum clearly stating the Brownhills were looking to charge £90 per hour to inspect and prepare a report on a potential warranty claim on an for water ingress on an Itineo less than 2 years old. Some fields below had to be completed so marked as I saw fit.

After years of reading about Brownhills shortcomings, we still ended up having a look at what they had to sell.
We were hooked when we discovered a huge selection of vans and a van that ticked all of our boxes, curses!
We returned to our 100 miles away downfall and bought a van; what were we doing?
The support and facilities offered seemed far too good to be true, from anyone, let alone Brownhills. Sarah, the poor soul dedicated to us was the perfect salesperson; nothing seemed too much trouble.
Admittedly our long planned for introduction to our new van, became a bit too hurried due to unforeseen circumstances but as we stayed overnight we were pleased to see the chap back again at around 8 the next morning to complete his hand over.
As we were buying second hand, when morning arrived we had discovered a few things we were not entirely happy about.
Our new van was taken away to the workshops leaving us with our old van and the Brownhills Club facilities, membership was automatic as we had bought a van from them. The facilities include indoor swimming pool, Sauna, Jacuzzi, exercise bikes, a reading / TV room and some of the best showers any camper could wish for. We were booked in with free hook-up for a couple of nights but could have enjoyed staying longer. As the camping is free for up to around 30 vans. There are loads more good things and a few thoughts the other way.
Workmanship is excellent but fairly expensive and we possibly ordered more transfer and additions than we should but not only did we both leave Brownhills praising their virtues but even at 200 mile round trip, we will return.

We purchased our six months old Auto-Trail Delaware from Brownhills in October 2016 after some very good advice from one of their sales staff, David, at the NEC show.
David also guided us through the purchasing minefield and, I am sure, led me to the best option for us.
In hindsight we were very grateful to Gary who gave us a very thorough handover and insisted that we read all the documents when we got home. This resulted in a irregularity with the warranty documents (that could have had very serious repercussions for us) being sorted.
I have had a few small issues since buying the Motorhome - rear minor light, waste water warning indicator, minor surface cracking at the rear, my ignorance re: the fitted Gaslow system - and I was grateful for Shaun’s advice and patience. The issues have been dealt with and they were able to arrange damage to be repaired caused by my clumsy bike removal.
I would definitely recommend this dealer.
