Alternatively you could leave a Graffiti sticker "Gus parks here, you have been warned"Aha. I thought it was me as my very quick post was/is quite lacking in literary merit.
When I brought it up in the shop, where they check your NT membership, they said that cars were used to going there... I suggested a larger sign at the bottom of the approach to that small section. They do have large prominent signs for the disabled parking on the same level as the visitor centre.
We will see.
