We may have son / grandson / daughter with us for a day but they are all kayakers. It will depend on what else is in their diaries of course.

Based on previous experience can I ask everyone...if you aren’t experienced enough to paddle all way round please don’t put your name down for a full day as it only holds the others back. A half day suits most folk.

At the moment there is only Andy63 that’s capable and interested so unless theres 3-5 people is £72 inc lunchand 2 is £100 Prices have gone up, talk about inflation, they are not willing to just hire a kayak to you Martin, I’ve just asked. @Puddleduck has 2 sit ons she would be happy to borrow you one.

The cost of the kayaking is the same whether you have your own gear or not bill... bssically paying for the instructors time and him keeping everyone right...
Thats assuming you would want to be included in one of the kayaking groups... think thats how it works..

Sorry I'm late in responding to this. When you are locked in Coventry for discussing the "B that dare not speak its name" it's quite difficult to keep tracks of what's happening, especially as pages take forever to load, complicated further by the discussion being split between "Conversation" and "Forum". Indeed I've pretty much given up on viewing pages whilst logged in.

I think I'll pass on paying £40 or £74 each to paddle our own kayaks.
