Eguisheim was full and we have been there at least 3 times so looked for a freebie nearby.
This is about 7 KMs away. Behind the village hall just marked up as parking but reviews were very good.
It is just a car park however as you are halfway up the hill having unspoilt views across thousands of acres of vineyards down to the Rhine valley facing east the sunrises are reported as spectacular.
We don't think we will get that in the morning owing to cloud but you never know.
3 of us here tonight. Just had a walk round the village and it seems every house is a winemaker. Very pretty but not Eguisheim.
