Unterwössen Alpenstraße

A very very flat stage of the Alpenstraße from Ruhpolding down to rip Van winkle as we call it.
It was 22 KMs long and we decided not to mention that we didn't bring our E bikes. We followed the E bikes path and saw how shady it was, how they passed the lakes and followed the beautiful river.

This was doubly disappointing because I noticed the lack of tread on the rear wheel and tried to find a motorbike shop open but failed until tomorrow.

So we took what turned out to be an acceptable risk ( we didn't get caught and we didn't get injured) and then turned right heading north (think this is still Alpenstraße) to marquetson or something that sounds like that.

We were tickled by a couple of villages but nothing to get our teeth into but we did spot our 2nd dirty kebab van but we had already bought lunch.

We then about turned oiling a right towards Kössen where we found the gorge type walk and then left after Kössen to the swimming lakes.

What we did do though is pick up maps of the cycling routes round here. We had the wrong transport for today
