First up, the official aire is a dump. No other way to describe it. A caravan takes up 2 spaces, pulled up tarmac another 2. Completely wrecked vehicles take up another 4 spots, then there was an obvious full timer who was mates with the ground hoarding caravan dweller and a Czech motorhome. That left enough space for us to park and listen to the tones of voice being used by the wife.
So we joined all the other motorhomes at the north end of the village just before the bridge.
Not the best of starts, especially after the hairy way in.
Do not let that out you off coming here. Just be aware of it. It is beautiful up here. The town was a great walk through with surprisingly large casino shop, pizza restaurants in caves, good ambience and nice little streets with river gully running through.
We don't think we could leave our 7.4m home here during the day so will wonder down the gorge and hopefully find some nice spots as there are gorge walks on tributaries and waterfalls to be seen round here.
There is a campsite but it's not in our nature
Free electric recharging .... Which will be needed around here !
The location on the map is where we parked overnight. The aire is at the bottom of town.
