We came to Esteve last night for another free Aire with 6 places, free dump, 50 cents for a cassette clean and electricity at 5 euros for 24 hours.
Very quiet night with 5 of us here.
Had a walk around town last night and very very q. No bar open open for me to spend my pesetas.
Set off relatively early along the via verde of loose gravel and occasional hump but really impressed with the steep granite cuttings before a steep road section, (looks like they used the original tunnel for a road) then drop down on a nice incline into st feliu de pallerols where we noted a cafe/bar right on the route and thought, it's a bit early for us but we LL go there on the way back and people watch with an estrella
But as we carried on through the town I glanced to the right and thought "that's a walled town" so we investigated and decided the bar in the square passed our 1100 hrs monitor of beer intake and we sat there for an hour it was so blissful. Next to nothing going on, couple of local totty sat down for a coffee and a couple of cyclists.
Exploration of the town was decided upon and not fisappointed
Then we found the map confirming the locations of some "Wild Swimming in Spain" locations
And off we went to find them. Not too far off the via verde and all seemed swimmable if water temperature and air temperature were good.
Some included a 200 m walk. Others a km trek. Locked the bikes up at the via verde then descended.
Couple of viaducts in between
So impressed with our leisurely morning beer, we returned, as it was in the way for another one.
