Salzburg

We got our Aire at 12 euros a night, extra for leccy, in the middle of nowhere but we are next to some cows and a railway line. Don't let that put you off.
We reckon about 15 KMs from Salzburg on a motorbike but they have a cycle route up to Laufen on a closed road then on the Austrian side of the river is a wooded cycle route alongside the river into Salzburg town centre. (So we are told)
We took the motorbike in.
We sort of knew we would probably come here but did the square root of diddly squat research so we didn't have a Scooby where to park or what to look for. We managed to park next to a footbridge over the river where suckers have bought a lock and attached it to the bridge, throwing the key into the river and go on to live happily ever after.
We weren't interested in paying for anything, we just wanted a walk round. It is very nice and we may have seen a little or a lot.

Hell of a lot of Japanese tourists with selfie cameras that grated upon us quite quickly. Glockenspiel comes from the church. Loads of decent proper street performers, the town was full of character.
