Another early start in order to get to Reidlingen and found numerous traffic lights and unnecessarily frequent long stretches of 30 kph through towns.
Necessary stop at lidls and an Action arriving at the free aire with what seems to be free electric and water.
We are right up against the Danube with view of bridge and in town centre but surprisingly Q. 8 spaces and 4 filled. Nobody taking electric.
We went up stream 33kms to Sigmaringen and a tad disappointing in that 70% was not near the river. It meandered in and out but road surfaces were excellent.
A lot of open fields of barley and wheat and this was to our detriment on the return journey against a strong wind.
Temperatures described as warm not hot. No swimming points and bars very few and off the track.
Water filling points also scarce. Found a spring and wading points and the big palace at Sigmaringen before return journey found this place we thought was a brewery but wasn't. More if a boulangerie. But they sold cold beer and a pastry. 2 beers 50cl and a pastry 4.50euros.
Next up were our first storks but birds of prey aplenty all day long, hardly able to say a time when we couldn't see one.
When we got back we noticed a tourist electric locker system so took our batteries over to charge them but 16 lockers in use (locals ?) So we bought them back and letting the lithium earn it's keep whilst watching with a beer.
Plan to go down river to ehingen tomorrow from here (as it's free)
