Port Grimaud

From Ste Maxime there is a dedicated segregated cycle path with panoramic views of the golf if St Tropez. Real pleasure to just meander along at a really relaxing 17kph.

Numerous beaches were passed and the well attended Les mures campsite in the beach which was full to heaving. Not for us but you can understand completely parking up there for a fortnight and have enough aperol to last !

We missed the entrance to port grimaud and went in by the tourist office, having to cycle back along an inner road but only when coming across the heavily gated entrance with 2 security turning everything away.

When we got to the proper entrance there is a massive car park opposite which must be paying as barrier entry with motorhomes inside.

Bikes were parked against railings just outside, like everyone else.

Over the first of a few footbridges and through the gateway you notice how many (and HOW MUCH) ice cream shops there are. Some reasonable window shopping but some advanced goggling of the restaurants and the boats in the harbour. Really nice walk round just ogling.
