Actually from the Aire at pont de l'arn as we did the 2kms of voie verte into Mazamet last night and total of 30 Kms with 25 up hill but we knew that today. The first 5 Kms were uninspiring alongside the road followed by going between farms but then we followed the river which had loads of tributaries and rumbling white horses through shallow rapids til we got to the col which is inside the tunnel. What a tunnel. Hopefully video that upon return and put up a you tube link. Eagle seen on the way in. Signs for mountain goats, surprised we didn't see more wildlife other than farmed animals
Passed the free aire which had dump and presumably free water at labastide and although only 3 spaces I may have missed a trick here. Looked nice.
