We were originally aiming for Erbach on the Danube but a seat belt audible alarm, incessant speed camera and warnings from sat nav, with terrible other drivers and the heat and traffic jams we saw a sign for an aire and in our hangry state we took it.

Didn't have a clue where we were but we are right on the Neckar river south of Stuttgart.
We have our stale bread and pate lunch and see that there is a dedicated cycle path up the river so we are staying. We head up river and within 1.1 Kms there are 2 bars with picnic areas. Different surfaces for cycling and flat. We went about 20 Kms before coming back to the tractor fete and having a beer having taken the tractor porn photos.
Found a swimming lake for a sunbathe and cycled back on the other side of the river. Walk round town later.
