Or MSM, a beaux village with CCP which we have been to a couple of times before.
I would describe the hill to the town and the hill in which the town is built as constant. It is fairly steep but you don't notice it as much as there are shops, church and pretty viewing points in the way. These include the water over a couple of cascades within the town but the water must appear from the sides as the bed is dry further up.
Evidence of having missed a market after 1399 on a Friday.
As you climb up the pathway splits left and right. We have taken left previously and both of us remember heading to the market up waterfall only to be disappointed as it was dry. It is possible, if you do decide to go that way to walk across to the Chapelle. That sign said an hour where the sign for only the Chapelle is 15 minutes.
Many mistakes of not wearing decent shoes became apparent to many people.
There is a handrail for support and the stones in the steps are shiny. Going up wasn't an issue but coming down is. Your choice is to hold the handrail which may be quite hot if open to the sun and keep on the slippery path or go to the middle with no reach out support and have a better foothold.
Now this route is described as steep, open and hard work. Take water. The Chapelle is visible under the star they light up at night between mountains but it also doesn't seem to get any closer.
It is worth the effort.
