Hot day so boat trip round the lake with a bit of breeze seemed ideal. We had the timetable and know it lands at a jetty about 100 yards from the campsite but timings were not great.
Set off on motorbike for Millstatt then we were at the jetty for 0950.
We noted 3 coaches parked up and on joining the queue realised we were behind them.
Oh the antics and tactics and seat saving that was going on.
We headed upstairs knowing we weren't getting a seat but we had good views.
You can jump on and off, you can get a beer or breakfast. We just went up to Seeboden and back, about an hour. But getting off at Seeboden and having a couple of hours there would be a good plan to me.
Get there early before the coaches arrive would be our suggestion.
