Manosque on e bike

Following on from the unanticipated stop causing some injuries to the better half, we managed to fully charge the bikes with 50 ah of our lithium bank.
So an earlyish start going cross country via Villeneuve then Volz saw us use only one of the 5 light indicators of battery on the bike.
Manosque, or what we saw if it, appears to be more of a new town but still has the inner housing and shopping centre with a one way rocade circumnavigating the town.
But our interest was piqued with the plan d'eau about 6 kms out of town, Les vandannes, a large swimming lake with paid for bouncy castle assault course and pedalos but free entry and lifeguarded in summer. 3 large beaches and some smaller solitude spots reckon it was about 300 m by 600 m warm lake of clear water. No boats to hinder swimmers.
Very poorly signposted from where we came from. the car park was fairly full and might be awkward arriving on a nice afternoon in a motorhome. The overflow car parking on the right hand side as you enter might be a good shout and it will certainly give you a fair to medium chance of obtaining maximum solar !

The ride was not the best. Hardly any flat apart from a long the canal you couldn't see, bumpy in several places which didn't help Paula's rib or my back, we used a load of electric on the way back as we finished on 69 gruelling kms today
