Ski season goes on til June 16th here. That means the ski lift that takes you to 3150m is working.
We hadnt had the weather to do that before so only got to 2800 m.
The road up is not as steep as some but we kept looking for the cable car and as we entered the last bit of the road it became horseshoe shaped with no cable car.
Confused, we took photos of the waterfall and a train driver seemed to shout in German so we jumped on a train.....which went up the inside of the mountain at a rate of knots and quite steep.
We came out to snow capped mountains and ski slopes and another cable car so we got on and went up to 2800m
I went with motorbike trousers and jumper. Paula went full motorbike gear so she was told the grandchildren will want a snow angel video !
Unfortunately shoes were not good enough. Canvas trainers on the sludge was not great.
hot chocolate was 4.20 and views a plenty of 30 3000m high peaks.
