This was in the height (or descent) of Covid part one.
France/Europe decided to open on June 15th and FCO advice was not to travel.
I decided (based upon shed loads of research) that I didnt believe half of what was being told to us and there was an awful lot of politics rather than our safety that the decision making about travel was being made. So we left at 0300 hrs on 15th June and created a thread "Guinea Pig" which is available to view should you so wish. By all means disagree with me about the rights of travel, just be aware it was all legal.
We went to campsites in the middle of nowhere rather than aires and toured on our motorbike. I have not photoshopped out the people to make it appear that we had a safe holiday.
Bourbon Lancy was very nice and the hills around Luzy equally so. Nice underrated area.
