We attacked Lourmarin from the aire at Cucuron via e bike.
It says 5km but we followed the "cycle route"
The road with very limited traffic is easily the better way and 4km less and a dam site quicker.
Lourmarin is a beaux village with chateau you can pay 8 euros to enter so no pics of the chateau from us then !
The town is very pretty but lacking in cycle parking but there was a sign for motorhome daytime parking and sfs indicated the same.
Lovely buzz about the place and English/American was heard frequently
The main street was a picture of restaurant bars and as would be expected a premium to purchase probably good food. Back streets were also interesting and gave us a lovely walk round. Statues and fountains aplenty
Careful of the bike route to Cadenet. In fact avoid it like the plague and take the road unless you like being caked in mud if following our route. NB Vaugines (different journal entry to come) is in between Cucuron and Lourmarin
